The Selection Committee has made its choices for the NCAA Basketball teams that will make up the 2024 March Madness bracket.
Experts, gamblers, and college basketball enthusiasts around the country are filling out their brackets now in hopes of winning office pools, honor among colleagues and peers, online bets, or $1 million-plus grand prizes at many sites across the web.
The odds to win March Madness presented at online college basketball betting sites favor the UConn Huskies to repeat as NCAAB National Champions.
The Huskies have some tough sledding ahead, as their potential Sweet 16 matchup would be against the 4-seeded Auburn Tigers, who many are picking as a sleeper for the 2024 Tournament.
According to the current March Madness futures, the Tigers are ranked 7th overall and are red-hot after winning the SEC Tournament Championship.
Of the top 13 programs featured in the odds for March Madness betting, Auburn is the only four-seed included in the mix.

Most bracket-fillers will likely find themselves at a crossroads for the UConn-Auburn game during the 2024 Round of 16. However, the winner can certainly call themselves a front-runner to cut down the nets and will become at least a Final Four qualifier in most brackets.
Even though the Huskies and Tigers are among the top seven teams featured in the current NCAA March Madness odds, betting on either program to win it all will result in exponential payouts if wagers are placed right now.
A bet on UConn at +400 will payout at 4-to-1 ratios, while a wager on Auburn odds of +1500 will provide profits of 15x versus the amount gambled.

While selecting a single team from 68 total programs may seem difficult, it is much easier than projecting the entire bracket. The lowest seed to ever win March Madness was the Villanova Wildcats, who were ranked 8th back in 1985.
Theoretically, bettors can eliminate all teams seeded 9 and below from potential futures wagers.
